Here’s the same car I’m looking into from a different link.

‘11 S4

I’m not sure why the links aren’t working specifically from cars.com.

One of my co-workers just picked up a ‘13 S4 manuel for $34k? From CarMax. His ‘13 GTI was totaled in the hail here in Colorado a month ago. Not a bad upgrade

I'm looking to move into an S8 to get a bit more room. But my S4 is near perfect. Love the blower whine. They are great cars. Just a bit snug for me now.

Thank you, I had them gloss black for a while, but I changed it up when I got the new tires. I really like the gunmetal color. I did the same color on my wife's new black Pacifica, looks nice.

Nice, that’s always been one of my favorite combos. White with black wheels and red interior is my second favorite.

Any more pictures of the S4? The more I look at it, the more I like it haha.

I would absolutely try to buy that off you if I was closer.

What year S8 are you looking at?

I think I’m set on the 2008. The ‘09s are a little less affordable and the 2007s are just before a facelift. So the sweet spot for me is the 2008s. I love the sound of that V-10. They have some noted issues, but generally if maintained over their life, should last a good long time. But it's all about the past maintenance.

Good choice! The V10 does sound amazing.

When I was looking for a replacement for my A6, I poked around Audizine for any reliability concerns with the D3 S8 and I really got a mixed bag of reliability related stuff. Carbon buildup seems to be a biggie though.

Yeah seems like right around the 70-80k mark it starts to be an issue. But I figure it just goes with the territory on those.

That’s true.

Everything else considered, you get a hell of a lot of a car for a pretty minimal price tag.

I’m just waiting for the S7 to start depreciating so I can get my hands on one.

Yessir, I love me some depreciation and lapse of a warranty. The values drop off a cliff after the warranty runs out, but rightfully so when pretty much any repair is going to involve 3 zeros. But, damn do you get a lot for the money. These things are very nice. Is the S7 an aluminum body? That's one of the selling points for me being in the rust belt. I like the idea of the aluminum body.

For sure, the depreciation is pretty great. Especially if you find a nice indie shop that can do repairs on the cheap side.

I’m not actually sure if they’ve got an aluminium body. I’d like to say certain parts of them are at least. Audi seems to be really got at rust-proofing their cars though. I very rarely see an Audi with major rust.
